I can't watch this prod, but i want watch the avi.
I thumb down because something makes me feel like if i wanted to kill somebody.
You organized a demoparty for helping newbies to enter the demoscene and to feel better and blablabla, you release 3 demos at your party, lot of gfx and musics, and you master everybody with that, isn't it a joke ? Do you really think that this will motivate newbies ? Maybe this demo is very good, but what the fucking hell makes you released so much products at your party ??? Are you afraid to loose at the other ? Putain mais si vous croyez qu'on a de la merde dans les yeux faut pas en rajouter !
Do you think your attitude is really fair-play ?

Agree. Flooding the own party with productions suck. One would haven been ok. Looks like they're really afraid of losing at the own party. Poor.

I liked it. Some bugs (polygons clipping in the DOF part for example) and a few sync oddities aside it was an entertaining show. As for the party flooding business, well I'm not here to comment on that.

@Skarab : This prod sheet is not the place to discuss of that subject ('flood prods'), open a BBS tread instead please

@Nytrik : i'm not involved in this production ,) (but yes, i must improve my 3D this year, interesting proposal, email please ;] )
don't run on geforce3ti 200....... links for an avi ?

i ask MRS members for a video version soon!
Marshals are the new Superstition!

ok, too bad MRS get involved in the compo, but oh well ... demoscene tends to be quite unusual these days ...
Anyway, the prod. was good ... Good fx, bumping sound, real nice colors !

this one crashed really bad in the end. p4HT-3,0Ghz/512/R9800pro/XP ... demopaja's fault! :)

why it's only gf4 or higher? on the video there is no very impressive effetcsq that require gf4.....
added on the 2004-04-20 12:28:25 by seagates seagates
video version available here 17Mb

@ seagates : it is for higher than GeForce4 (it not work on my GF4), it use some complex vertex shaders wich need a powerfull gpu (ask the coders for details)
veeery nice!

...if only it would have been a bit faster :)

only seen the video, but it looks cool.
the effectsnaming reminds me of dope ;)
the music lacks bottom end though, which is too bad since the tune is cool

Nice visual and effects. The colors are great. Music is not my taste.

This would sure be nice to see without the ugly video compression artifacts! Eventhough I didn't see it as it should be I feel quite secure by giving this a thumb up!
Good going, Marshals are just getting better and better!

The music could have been a lot better, and having obvious vertex-envmapping-artifacts in effects dubbed "pixelshader glass" isn't all that cool either... ;-) The Stonehedge scene rocks, though, and there are other neat scenes in here as well. :-)

storm of effetc, one after another, brisk and offensive, much better than allinium and monoscope together.

hmm i'm not much a fan this kind of demostyle..

flashy colors, text logos, filtered soundtrack, rather demoish (effect/scene by effect/scene) show..

of course nothing in the demo is wrong. it seems rather polished, coherent and clean.

but hmm, it just left a rather unpleasant fast food taste in my mouth.
added on the 2004-06-10 21:38:02 by florent florent
exstremely cool - great demostyle! (..though a major BITCH that it doesn't work with my gf4ti4600ultra)

aww. the pretty thing with the clean surfaces, BUT STIL SO ROUGH AND TECHNICAL... I want to stroke the clean surfaces with a goraud shaded feather.. AND I WANT TO HURT THE BACKLIT OBJECTS WITH A MORNINGSTAR WITH A SPIKEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

worked on my gf-fx5200, but somewhat slow. cool and innovative style. and to the rest of you: here we are judging the prod itself, not the circumstances of its release. take those flames elsewhere

OH YEAH, BABY - ROCKS!

I hate the music, cheapish scenes, I dont like the style. And releasing two almost identical demos on your own party sucks, Sorry..

only for Pixer Shader 2.0 gf cards, and I say why ??? Why not PS 1.4 ??? Release a fix, if you could.

I watched it from low (very low!) DiVx version - it is a only "tech demo", and Santik guitar music is not as good Nula´s electro track in Mrs´ My Own Monoscope demo.

so piggie
Crashed in the end.

Rocked truely! Music was niice.

"And he said to me: try the another hole" just makes you smile :D
rulez added on the 2004-08-29 22:14:30 by Vulture Vulture
Quite nice. For some reason I found the 2D images that looked like flat-shaded 3D kind of amusing. The "loading final part" was also smile-inducing. A bit rough in some places, but overall decent.

what! With latest ati drivers ( 6.14.10.4995 ) it won't find vertex and fragment program ARB's. Known driver problem or my problem? :)
added on the 2005-03-26 06:57:21 by ekoli ekoli
This is certainly a driver problem. I have a 9600XT latest drivers installed on it and demo pops up an error message saying that : your hardware does not support vertex and fragment program extensions bla bla bla...
added on the 2005-03-26 09:00:27 by scg_ scg_
Great demo - loved the music, loved the visuals, now make it work on the latest ATi drivers and im happy.

zoom: to run this demo, take RivaTuner and turn down the OpenGL version sting from 2.0 down to 1.5.
