This is the official SCENE.ORG AWARDS 2003 video for your pleasure...
This is the hiQ version with ~730MB !!!

There's also a lowQ version available which has ~360MB !!

Please give the links just some more time to get 'active' as I'm still uploading the files to scene.org !
Thanks... ;-)

Bye,
Weasel

I'm very sorry for the inconveniance...
But the first upload of the HI-Q[/b} version sadly had some CRC-errors in it...
So it needs to be re-uploaded again.

The message-link of the lowQ version still works though.
The [b]HI-Q
download-link of the prod itself will be re-acitvated as soon as possible during the next few hours then...

Thanks for your patience... ;-)

Just one additional notice here:
Please download and _spread_ only those two versions here and not the low-res release available in the assemblyTV directory at scene.org and on the ASM-internet pages.
Thanks a lot...

Bye,
Weasel

(i was forced to post here). good cut. bp orgas were too elite to let steeler reveal the winners hahaha :)

and to add something more constructive: the quality of the intro sequence seemed pretty bad to me, even with the 'high quality' version. good video quality for the filmed scenes (with melw and steeler) tho, good job with that.

unlock, the thing is that no high quality / final version of the intro sequence exists. nytrik, if you're reading this - we could still use that, you know. :)

oh that sounds like a good reason. nytrix move your ass ;-)

Overall very good quality (excellent encoding and good camera). With a steeler swimming like a fish in the water and a not so relaxed melwyn (Yeah, it's quite hard to speak and keep natural behaviour while being on a scene/podium and being watched).

Perhaps the CAP logo should be removed while the demos are shown (also it looks like the PS2 one have some vsync troubles) but it's good to watch these demos played on descent hardware (and at descent speed).

freed_OHM: http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/avi2mpeg1.html bit you may already have tried this method. I remember a tool which (among other features) purpose's was to convert AVI files intro DVD, it's name is TMPGEnc.

You can try to keep Fearmoths down, but the people have spoken!!!!!

anyone know a tool that can convert DIVX/AVI into SVCD then?
The image “http://www33.brinkster.com/fearmoths/award.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Why is the image quality so bad? Bad encoding or bad capturing?

Are the demos taken from camera capturing ?

arneweisse:
Maybe you should consider downloading the HI-Q version instead!! ;-)

unlock:
As melwyn said already...we hadn't had the chance to get the source-animation intro file from nytrik. So I had to use the average divX release available. Only thing I changed was to exchange the music of the divX with the full-quality mp3-release from Little Bitchard which simply roxxxx!! ;-)

freed_0hM:
Sorry, there's only those two divx versions available. There's no svcd version planned of it! (It wouldn't fit on _one_ svcd anyways (without quality-loss again!) as the video is 60mins instead of max.50 for good svcd quality!)

hitchhikr:
The c.a.p. logo is surely there for a 'little branding' of the prod at least. As not everyone might write down any credits if they took/cut any scenes from it...(which is fairly asked for in the .nfo-file as well though.)
So the tiny (and extra transparent) logo is at least something which stands for our intense work here then...
Don't you think? ;-)

For the PS2 entry it's quite similar to the intro-anim quality problem written above...
It was not possible to burn/boot the soopadoopa demo (also not the final version of it from their website!!) on a 'just modded' PS2 from a CD. And we hadn't had the chance in the short production timeframe to get our hands on a PS2-network interface, cables and the rest which would have been needed to get the data from a PC x-ferred to the PS2 directly. That was pretty sad, indeed! Oh well...

i thought Scene.org.Awards.2003_hiQ_(divx52).avi was the hiq version ??
added on the 2004-08-17 05:06:42 by Hatikvah Hatikvah
well, then the quality should be in nice and colorful hi-q...
