there is a rumour that: For Hades , it is easier to make the scroll machine than coding it on C64 :)

@UNS3EN: It's not the same thing actually. This hardware is designed by Hades/Ascraues himself and its for correcting datetime settings of Commodore 64. Some kind of bios clock... By using this hardware, we will be able to write operating systems for C=64 with a detailed file system. And they made this scrolling effect using this hardware. Hardware is not designed for this and they did this just for fun.
