dudes. please be more careful. in the package i find a licence but no installation manual. i had to install python-opengl and python-pygame manually. there is no glew module in my distro. you suck.

In fact, paniq: go eat two, many or lots.

Waaah! Waah! Wasn't the whole point to your stupid OS jihad that you can easily add it anyway? Half the challenge is getting things to work under Linux ;)

Also, good luck finding the secret part, people!

shifter: cock

half the challenge is coping with people who think just because its linux i they dont have to provide non-standard libraries with their demos. what comes next? textures are not being included because i could easily do my own with gimp?
added on the 2006-08-22 13:36:17 by paniq paniq
You sure seem to love the cock.

Why stop there? Might as well not reveal the specific hardware specs and force people to build their own configuration, stacking failure upon failure until they got the right graphics card and network adapter combination.

We can go on about how deranged things can get within the confines of your imagination, but lay off the cocks and try a book on communication. I'm sure you mean well and all, but calling people cocks because they don't adhere to your jihad standards is just going to make this thread a cockfest.

maybe an scene-orgy while porting this to windows is a nice idea? There sure are some cock-lovers here?

using linux is sooo poland

Considering the chicks they have in Poland, I support the idea wholeheartedly now.

ahaha :)

Ok but... MAKE A WINDOWS PORT OR A VIDEO ALREADY!
added on the 2006-08-22 22:42:49 by keops keops
The demo didn't found libSDL, and i'm not going to install it for the demo. of course. If you can't include the libs in the package, i'll wait for the video version.
added on the 2006-08-22 22:43:11 by mrdoob mrdoob
Actually I'm with Panic on this one, releasing under Linux is no excuse to provide half work. The demo itself rocks though :-)
rulez added on the 2006-08-22 22:56:16 by sparcus sparcus
In the ongoing trend of not installing .NET for .NET demos, buying Xboxes to watch Xbox demos and not installing drivers, directx or Java Runtime, I am not surprised anymore.
added on the 2006-08-22 22:56:44 by Shifter Shifter
No shifter, it's not like that...

It is like in windows, using bass.dll but not having it on the .zip
added on the 2006-08-22 23:03:06 by mrdoob mrdoob
trace: like it is with most modern 4k's and the d3dx_xx.dll's?
btw, libSDL is installed by default on many distros...
added on the 2006-08-22 23:10:40 by Ayo Ayo
Looks like it's not in Ubuntu.
I mean, I don't have any problema about installing stuff, but I don't think is fair :)

Oh, and I'm the only one that care for the prod enough just to spend time writting this. I'm sure quite a lot of people tried it, didn't worked and deleted it without even give some feedback.

Do whatever you want. I think I said enough.

I thought that was the whole point, then release the source and tell people to fix it themselves when they complain.

Certainly seems that way.
