Probably among the first 5-10 Amiga demos I ever watched (I didn't watch them often up until this point, as my friends didn't have many).
A friend and I had been fiddling with Red Sector Demomaker, and Madness 2 came on a CU Amiga coverdisk. I remember I said "Oh! They must be using a powerful demomaker program! I want that!". (Especially for the effect in the upper right corner of the screenshot). My friend tried to explain that they probably coded it.. :P
My face is red! :-D
Great music from 4-Mat, some very nice effects by Dan, and the graphics does its job. But I don't know why they didn't use a graphician instead. Was Facet still in Vision?

Originally the music order was supposed to be rock track, folk track, funk track. (hence the odd endings) Dan's choice was much better though.

Some nice effects but the tune doesn't fit a bit. It sounds too medieval. Like from the Camelot knights times.

Underappreciated at the time, I think. 4-Mat's tunes work well here, and the effects are great. The "Tree" looks fantastic! One of Dan's best!

Good gfx as for the coder. Good code as for graphician ;). Many nice effects. Interesting vector-routines.
Good music as for the musician ;). Perhaps to many styles mixed in one, for me.
It lacks something to be more enjoyable, thou. A full screen picture or two? Might be fractal a long rendering time while playing really noisy guitar samples instead of sth more moody (is that the guitar Moby's music influence from AD/QTX demo?).
