the idea behind it (see nfo) is cool, but this video just sucks so hard like the good ol skate and trip to mekka vhs rips back some years ago..

Not a scene usual wild demo, but it's ok, and I like the cat at the end of the video :-)
I am very sorry guys but that thing sucks really. I saw the screenshot and it looked quite promising but looking it 'real' is really shocking: no real script and also the music is a bit too loud to keep the concentration on the movie itself. It is a dutch production but nevertheless a bad entry - however you took the effort to make something that deserves some respect too.

Why was this not disqualified? It clearly violates the rule about pure animations only being allowed in the animation compo.

So the story was as follows:
A group of friends of mine had a a squat, which was dubbed 'psychedelic diner the chilisausbar' (no I'm not joking). To lighten up the place once a week we gathered flowers from the nearby flowerstand and turned them in bouquets. We called ourselves jokingly 'the flower arrangement mafia' and I thought this to be so obscure I decided to recorded the process of making the bouquets and hand it in as a wild entry.
What is not to love about some hoodded teknoheads turning flowers into art right, with a stuffed squat serving as a backdrop. I added some music and a star was born.
It went out to nearly break the voting system. More than a decade later it got referenced in a discussion about fixing the votingprocess. The squat got demolished and all that remains is this video. How about that.
