music is ripped from a game and fonts from amiga (i guess the demo is from a pretty early snes scene stage with few known facts about music routines), but the effects are really clever and manage to impress. this thing has no official title, the source where i have it from (a bbs) says it's a "new intro" from nesquick but the scroller says "new demo", and since it's a quite long multiparter, let it be demo! =)

The demo has Music from "Nigel Mansell" - a SNES racing game. As far as I remember the group/person behind it wanted to push a new Cross-Assembler for the SNES (OrgASM)... But actually I never saw it. The demo offers a lot of HDMA stuff, which actually makes it interesting.

The colors were awful throughout most of the demo, but effects-wise it was pretty nice for being on the SNES.

Nice SNES demo, neat raster effect in the credits (Turn of HDMA to see how they did it, it's made with only 1 layer). I wish that more people coded demos on 8-bit and 16-bit consoles, and since we have lots of documentation and tools for them...

Nice effects and they mentioned that they ripped the font from Amiga. ;)

not going to comment on the music/fonts, i mean that shit just happens when youve got no artists around, let alone one to blurt out spc700 asm for music :)

fun little thing. liked that raster trickery, and that zoomer at the end is nifty.

(sidenote: i'm coding a snes demo in spare time)

Big up for the Atari legends. I liked the scaling effects the most, but ofcourse you cant go wrong with rasters either :).

Haha, yeah, this was a kinda test bit of code that got released into the wild, so the bits and bobs were grabbed a bit randomly..
