If I remember correctly, this was Statix' last scene contribution. I really like it - has some nice ideas. Was the first time I ever saw the now-so-famous Lionhead-logo. BTW: the .nfo even has a greeting to Peter Molyneux (the designer of Black&White (the game)).

In sum: The last Statix+Vic cooperation, but a great one.

A fairly oldish accelerated demo with some neat ideas combining video with effects. My only complaint would be there aren't enough effects.

For a demo of '98, it's good. Designwise, well...

Beautiful, beautiful. I always loved video in demos.. I just wish the sound would work on my computer. And some of the effects are buggy as well on my new Geforce... :(

One of my old favourites. And unlike some other productions it even runs on new hardware and OSes, I just tested on Vista Home Premium :oD

But what happened to the stereo soundpack?

Gremlins! Stolen thumb!

Nice and one of the few demos integrating real video with synthetic 3D.

nice to see a scene production by those guys.
i just wish lionhead would do more funny games and scene-prods and not those over-ambitious-mega-projects that come out half hearted in the end.

hoooo I totally forgot that demo, a really great technical achievement for this era, and looked very "different" :)

Forgot it used D3D.. shortcomings are forgivable considering it was still mostly uncharted territory in the demoscene. It still works, kind of, but comparing it with the Youtube video, it looks wrong starting at the video+3D part.
