I know this screen is in the Ooh Crikey Wot A Scorcher demo, but you can't actually run it from there.

Today I wanted to see this technically phenomenal screen once again, and I noticed it wasn't here, so here we go.

Couldn't agree more, certainly one of the best fullscreens on STF, a very good variation to the one from Dark Side Of The Spoon.

Awesome in fact ! (and quite a reward when cracking the protection from Ooh Crikey and discovering this masterpiece of code :-) )

Nice, but still don't understand what is phenomenal in it. Is it not just an horizontal hardscroll with an update of one colum of text ?

STeem doesn't run it correctly :(

Dbug, it's a bit more cunning than that :)

Anyway, I remember having to hack the demo in order to see this after having it for 3-4 years. I was pleasantly surprised - that's a helluva hidden screen!

maybe if I had seen this is 1991 I would like it. now however I don´t! but since all fanboys would chop my head off if I thumb it down I will pretend to think it is "ok".

Keops enlighten me a bit about the technical stuff in this (well as much as he could for a non-68kcoder). So sorry for judging this as a "fucking ugly sinusscroller". Still think it is ugly as hell. But now I can see how it is "impressive" as well. So the "ok" is worthy from my part. not just a "sucks" that I could not dare to give ;)

sorry my ranting ;)

Isn't displayed well on the emulator here, but it must rule :)

Dbug: perhaps the reason why it was used so often :) I like the "when colors go bang bang" rasta association most. Ça roule :D
