Still, I found it interesting that by taking this many pictures and going through them at rapid speed, it was still possible to get an overrall feeling of the time spent there. Not sure if this was the purpose, but it gave me some ideas at least :-)

I agree with Reko: it really does give you a strong feeling of actually knowing what happened. I guess it's because the pictures are in chronological order (?) and there are so many pictures of each event. Truly a dualistic piece: on the other hand, it's just a bunch of holiday pictures but on the other hand, the feeling it conveys is so strong that it's hard to explain.
