Some cool stuff in there, tho I think it could've used a better font than just vanilla Arial.

again a rush of fx with some very nice scenes and (mostly) fast pacing. music is unusual and maybe a bit strange but not meh. so thumbs up for the package :D

To be fair I found this just irritating to watch. Random effects (couple cool ones) in random colors with nonsensical pacing and editing. On top of that I'm getting to the point where just rotation the hues around is an instant thumb down by itself. What really brought the entire jumble down was that mess of a soundtrack.

This demo has absolutely nothing to do with the original plan, and while i am glad not to be associated with this horrendous end result, it makes me sad that it had to be revived and not kept on the drawing board, as it should have been.

The original assets and the prototype soundtrack were uploaded to preserve what was left of the "original" demo, which had already suffered many changes and was nothing like the envisionment that i had in mind for it, nor what the technical document had. Despite everything, that build was still a joint effort. And deserves as much attention as this.

This final product is a soulless carcass of what this was and could have been. There is no proper coordination and the direction is lacking, and disorienting on the worst case scenario.

Half of the demo is an inexcusable self advertisment ploy, not only mentioning things that were already published and given for dead, but giving irrelevant information for any watcher.

This prod lacks direction and for the most part is scenes changing hues for no other reason. The spaceships are bland and motionless, and the scene where they are superimposed over the solar city is.... a reharshal at best. and when we are not staring a long while at an object changing hues, we are getting our retinas burneed.

Props to the metaball scene for the sheer amount of objects on screen though.

LIMITEO, as it stands, is a clear example of what happens when you leave someone to d oall the job, and lose their creative lead and overall director. It is at best, a generic demo, and at worst, an amateur experiment.

Since this comment will prevail here, and will get more visibility than the one liner, i am going to allow myself to link to the original prototype material, for comparision's sake.

This demo has all the elements for more than a thumbs down, but i am giving a piggie out of sportsmanship,

Lol, domestic drama at its best!

ZanaGB: your prototype footage looks like an amateurish experiment too, so why so serious?

TomoAlien: nice job for a one man-show. Quite watchable/entertaining!

Too bad you guys couldn't put your stuff together. Clash of two big egos? I don't know the details, but it doesn't look to me that it is clearly anyones fault. It happens. Just move on.

havent even seen the demo yet, but the scenedrama alone deserves a thumb up.

I liked some of the scenes in this. There is definitely some more polishing work which could be done to make it better but I know how it is sometimes when you are just doing your best to release anything at all.

Just some small advice and I mean this respectfully, feel free to take it or not, but maybe try to leave your personal drama out of your demos. If you want to vent and take swipes at each other then maybe do it on your blog or facebook or somewhere more appropriate. I understand that you two have some issues you are working through but airing your dirty laundry in public is always a bit distasteful. It's a shame to tarnish your creative work with bickering, at least for me it takes away a lot of the enjoyment of the demo by having to take the soap opera that goes with it. This goes for both of you by the way.

watched the demo now, it's not bad actually. the music fits the effects flow pretty decently and it has quite a few number of effects. clearly more of a coder demo then a concept demo but still holds it's own pretty well.

ugly to see the scenedrama, but atleast he made a demo about it.

looking forward to watching ZanaGB's retork demo. :)

I cannot thumb this up. The bitterness and raw anger is too much for me to stand.

Really, let things go. Don't let all that anger consume you.

Demoscene rules.
BMS also rules.

Breaking up sucks. This demo... doesn't suck that much, but I have to agree that it's kind of lacking direction and focus. Some of the scenes, like the 3d-texture-cityish-thing that's lit from underneath were quite cool though, especially for a wz prod.

I really love your .werkkzeug stuff and you always surprise me with scenes and colours. So this is again just awesome! But keep your private problems for yourself next time, please - and get a good musician.
