This could have been a really superb demo, but was never put together decently, which is a shame, becuase the individual screens are great.

i'm seriously inbetween piggy and thumb up on this one. some of the effects are really nice. others are just too slow. there are a few cool pictures. the music is ok.

The thumb is small for the missing design - they avoided not only work but also a great prod.

Was quite nice... one of the last prods on falcon by all of the crews involved :(

I did the packer and some glue code for this one. All heavy code was done by Patapom and David Gallardo (forgot his pseudo.) Flan did the gfx (and Niko ? Don't remmber.) This is a preview which was not supposed to be leaked. We were so pissed off we never put together a decent version...
Je me souviens surtout du Mebotel et d'avoir dansé sur les tables avec de la musique de dessins animés... Avec tout ça, comment voulez-vous que je boucle une démo, sérieusement??! =)

hey Patapom :) come back to atari! :P

Ouaah le Mébotel... Et Exkrement, le groupe qui sent quand y a du vent ! La démo était mal foutue mais on s'était bien fendu la gueule :-)
Forgot to mention that Furax/Equinox did the excellent soundtrack and NewFace/EXA the fast playroutine.

Allez hop, foutez moi des pouces hauts a tout ca! :)

Ktulu: do you have the soundtrack from Furax? We tried to rip it but its Nullostracker so it was impossible to convert it back to protracker :(

Yep, I have still have it and continue to listen to it on my PowerMac with CocoModX :-) Contatc me at: "ktulu at free dot fr" and I'll be glad to send it to you (and also AJT's modules if you want.)
The demo is ok, but no smasher as it suffers under the putting together and offers mostly standard effects, just ok.

Hmm,. is there a video of this?

I always liked this, even though it has obviously been put together in a hurry.

I've seen it only once, but i remember to have enjoyed it. And anyway, it has gorgeous gfx!

Yey, it somehow runs on Hatari (among with several other Falcon demos I just tried, always slow downs with sound but at least I can see some effects). This one went back to system after the water effect (which ran terribly slow from the emul side with sound stuttering, is it DSP based?) so I don't know if there is more or not. I'd still like to see a video of this.

Really good for a 1995 Falcon demo! The envmapping parts are way too long though.

thanks a lot for the vid sINK!
no design, not even proper fonts.. =D
still it has some really nice and good looking effects, a proper flow and enjoyable music.

Nice bunch of effects and cool multi-parts Amiga style soundtrack.
rulez added on the 2018-12-04 08:30:32 by Dma-Sc Dma-Sc
nice
Nice stuff, but the music driver seems to be fluctuating in speed, which makes it feel shabby. Otherwise its clear that an effort has been made and overal the effects are nice. Better to release than to let the code rot away :)

Good stuff.

I have to correct my music driver statement. This was related to the system setup, rather than the demo itself.

Some desync with the music, I think.
Coder colors.
Great "mirror/glass vectors on the goblin" part:
Sh*t, soo many nice effects literally spoiled by the lack of design...
