This ranked #1 at MS96.
The demo was technically absolutely outstanding and brought Azure to the top of nearly every coder-chart for years.

Excellent demo! Short but sweet, with fantastic music by Virgill. Rulez.

The archtype of a VeryGoodDemo. One of the best there is.

I have seen it a bit slowly in this computer with WinUAE but it rules!

all wrong

it's the symposium96, as there wasn't any amiga-compos beeing held at the ms96.

good thing that's fixed now.

the demo itself rocks. haven't seen it for years but i can't bother checking it on the emulator now either. an avi version would be sweet tho.

Sym96 rocked. And The Gate rocked even more.

one of the fastest amiga demos ever? The voxel is cool even though it has some strange artefacts. I like the envmap table effect (head) and the envmap stuff flows smoothly. A classic. Shame it stops in the middle of the music though.

Possibly loaderror, Azure is my god, he can do code that puts everyone else to shame. His faster than Copyspeed routines are a work of art with clever use of preloading the cache. And like Spin said topped the charts for ages.

Technically impressive but it gets a bit boring in the long run. Piggie.

Very impressive and technically advanced work, though lacking in direction if I remember. The textures are outstanding!

I noticed that the "fixed" version does in fact have a timing bug. The synchronization is all wrong. Therefore the party version is the only correct one. unfortunately I have no idea where to get it.

I do still have the sources for this demo, but I can't be assed to figure out how do compile them again...

t'was a funny time. I miss it.

Kick ass demo with full screen 1x1 c2p that run smoothly ! (And probably the best Artwork demo, or anyway the one (except their intros) I've watched the most often.

Delicious stuff. After watching it, I would sometimes stare at the endscroller for minutes on end - there is something mesmerizing about these 2D bumpmappers when done right.

Nice show. Brings me back to good memories infront of the A1200 with piles of disks and letters to write.
Bugs abit in WinUAE, need to check it on the real thing.

I was convinced it was a pc demo Azure was working on - even more when they showed it on the big screen :)

Deadguy next to me at Gerp ran some demos yesterday from this "3rd peak" in Amiga demo history - searched this one out because it was great and because I noticed "Noogman" on the screen :)
