this is the win32 port of u-turn (that most people are going to watch anyhow), the original final dos-version is on http://woorlic.org and the original party-version might be found on scene.org or some remedy site, not really anything to watch tho :)

I agree - ugly!

I f'kin hate the music too. Those analogue sounds are overused in the PC scene.

this is a port of a intro that placed first at remedy99 and was not really released now
added on the 2004-11-28 04:35:48 by whizzter whizzter

ok intro, nothing special.
music has 4k-ish simplicity...

Something in this makes me just <3 it. Perhaps it's the recursive texture effect, I don't know..

ok for 1999

Nice to see win32 ports of software demos, kinda small and not so good looking though..

Good music and few decent scenes.

nice for '99. Liked the recursive cube.

I'm just here to rant. *rant*rant* ;)

A softie from '99. Doesn't really do much other than show a mish-mash of poorly designed effects. No coherency and music goes absolutely nowhere. I didn't like this.
sucksadded on the 2005-01-03 01:38:12 by thom thom
loved the music
rest is mediocre
I've added the original entry as second download link for completeness.

From a 2005 point of view it's just random medicore stuff with some interesting music.
for completeness:
second link is actually a party version that is slighly different (last scene was replaced)

first link is a win32 port of the final version

the final dos version (gus+sb16) is available at http://woorlic.org (now why anyone would want that one is another question ;)

one thing i'm kinda sad about is that nobody ever notices that there's a rotating radial blur in the first scene. i guess thom's right about poor design.

i'm still wondering tho. did anyone do that in truecolor before me?
