The masters of incoherent design and variable music are back! :P

kickass demo! but music didn't quite live up to the visuals. Overall a bit too much bling-bling perhaps ;)

nice take on some previous tg-winners there in the beginning :) the music was great compared to some previous prods (sorry, but that fading guitar-stuff was horrible :) also; very good texturing and overall look in this one - clearly deserved a top3 place!

I really liked the scene of the screenshot. Very interesting 'metaballs -like' effect later on..

I think it should have come second. It was good and had cool post proc. effects. I like your style :)

Cool! Excellent code as usual - and now the music & design is catching up as well (not sure about the red and cyan combination, though)

some nice things here, but piggie it is

Leave the guitars to the pro's, Zapchud. You can't handle them.

Anyway; cool stuff. You're going to be a real threat in the near future. :)

Wops.

Finally some design and music to match the code. You're definiitely getting there. I think the use of transitions was especially cool, and something I don't usually see in accellerated demos.

pretty nice demo, specially the code; and the whole flow/design was pretty tight.
misses a more personal style perhaps.

a wonderful black screen here, with FX5700 ultra ( winXP/SP2, latest drivers )
added on the 2005-04-05 14:30:32 by kohai kohai
kohai, hornet & r3D^rgba: your cards have the OpenGL extensions the demo craves, so it should have worked in-theory[tm].
Guess I have to track down an NVIDIA dude at school to figure out what is happening on these cards.

Awesome! Really great! It didn't start too good (stating that you suck at design doesn't make the prod any better ;), but it just got more and more energetic :)
BTW... where should've I heard guitars? :)

Gargaj: it was just a "bad phun"/answer to World Domination by ODD.

Oh,.. And,.. I will start the nvidia bug-hunt-feasting really soon.

datsua: getting anywhere..?
added on the 2005-04-18 23:45:39 by gloom gloom
gloom: not exactly. I have a FX 5600 in my possession and a sleve of exams right around the corner. Hopefully this weekend will give some results or it'll have to wait until June.

If I get a GForce 5 will it solve the problem
asking for OpenGL extentions?

There are some interesting mesh dynamics, but I'd be lying if I said I was riveted to the screen.

black screen with music on a gf fx6600

This week I managed to get a ``good´´ NVIDIA card. And the bug revealed itself. It was really shallow I must admit :(
For a few effects I rendered/blitted one PBuffer to another, which according to the specs is a no-no. But it works on radeons for some mysterios reason.
Tried to fix it by copying to textures but the framerate dropped like bricks don't. Thus I will not release a fix yet.

The final scene was the best - without a doubt. I really felt like I was "there". The music was kicking too.
