Nice intro, but this isn't legendary Section 8 from C64.
This is a "second generation" group on Amiga.

Former Section 8, 1985 C64 rulers (aka S8 Softbustersystems, S8 International) keept inactive.

Cheers

but is it technically speaking the same group? were there some members of s8 c64 later on s8 amiga? was the "legacy" passed on in some way? or should i do two separate group entries for them here?

It's: 2 separate groups!
Amiga "Section 8" was a completley new group.
The Section 8 guys from C64 never even heard of them.

Cheers

Well. The Amiga leader of the group actually told me that he talked to the members living in near of Frankfurt/Germany and they gave the permission to launch Section 8 on Amiga. But who carez. I don't really like the intro. Just a little notice: Section 8 was also rebuild on C64 in 1993 (!) .. Believe it or not...
