a rotozoomer, some per-pixel drawings (the little square climbing the stairs at the beginning), a cute little chiptune, and the image of the screenshot, which is fullscreen with more than 2000 colors !!! a very good gameboy demo !!!

The fractal was drawn _painfully_ slowly at least on DBOY. Yeah, I know that GB doesn't have unlimited processing power but why include effects that just don't work?

DiamonDie: Mhmm, better use REW, it's the best emulator out there.

does anyone have an alternate download-link? the current one seems broken.

btw; flure: I thought the GBC was only capable of showing 52 colors on screen at once?

fractalgp: There are some kinda fake modes, which allow you to show much more colours. Those fake modes have been used in some games too (lara croft etc. afaik).

the GBC can show alot of colours (2000+) by altering the palette entries as the screen is being drawn, a bit like fli on c64...

looks like it'll be cool, but u better ditch the link 'cuz pdroms.de doesn't seem to allow remote leeching anymore :(

fixed the link so it at least shows to the details page of this prod on pdroms. kojote, for real, does a few hundred k download cost so much money? this is ridiculous. if you care for the scene, you should at least implement some exception for pouet direct-linking.

nice demo. I'm no fan of blocky screenmodes though.

SAUCE: original stuff like that stair climbing box illusion, palette trick (GBC truecolor?) and the mandrelbot set thing....

SHITZ: ugly art, holds world record for slowest fractal on GBC (many c64 demos do the same in at least 25fps!!)

VERDICT:
(should have been better in the art department... :( )
