Wicked demo. First thing that came to my mind was Max Payne.

And this is what happens when you try to squeeze too much stuff into a 64k... :)

much respect for the compression, but not as groundbreaking as "the popular demo".

F*CKIN' Sh*t !!! :-D
You DID it _again_, pals!!
What a GREAT show working absolutely perfect on the BIG screen!
You are completely INSANE, dudes! :-)

What I like most here is the incredible camera-work and style you use!
It looks really brilliant fitting to the style and suites the atmosphere rather perfectly!

Also the idea and use with those security-camera looks comes so unbelievable great (together with the changed sound/music in those parts of course as well!)...

Thanks a LOT, fiver2, for explaining your influences a bit above here. It solved a lot of my guessings for sure! :-D
You really did a GREAT job (again) with your ideas and directions here, indeed!

All comes absolutely TRUE and - from a filmer's point of view - without any doubts absolutely fantastic in what you wanted to achieve with that art and style!

Not mentioning the squeezing of all that stuff into ridiculously 177kb is more than MASSIVLY ILL, mates! :-D (Although many of it wouldn't have been possible without those now-a-days hardware/graphic-cards capapbilities as you can see from the minimum/recommended readme-section though! ;-) )

Anyways:
HUGE respect from my side and BIG congratulations for this GREAT return of fR in 2007 now!! :-D

See ya' all at the next chance, dudes!
And KEEP THE SCENE SPIRIT UP !!

Bye,
Weasel

d0DgE: the eqx invitro reference... LOL =P

frameskool vs. debris

This is procsynth death magic with only seven-odd distinct textures and lots of majestic lighting effects!!

On the very last day of our earth, all of our souls in the form of little cubes (colour reminds me of the default hue in Flash =P) gather in this very place for the requiem for what was once our own home, before we summon forth the mighty hund, obliterating our lifeless planet to what it was before God touched it...

an endless ocean of subatomic plankton...

b... b. b.. b.... but how?

1. this is not a demo, this is a dentro

it has:
* very long loading time
* slightly above-average visuals
* very hardware-demanding
* good 3d `agenda` i must say, but
* no innovation
* just `animation` without much sense
* average sountrack, even proning to loose it's attractivity throughout the time
* no progress after half a minute of watching time
* 1 style, 1 environment (dunno whether this is really a con)

it's potential is /sad to say/ spoiled after few first promising shots
come on, after all that hype, do you really think this is it? it's just 3d, nothing else, no other smart nor creative attitude. have you all forgot all witty/innovative demos with unforseen points of view?

ok, debris doesn't suck, it doesn't worth such attention either.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
  added on the 2007-04-11 by K-man
That comment was of course directed at crs.

shakul: cool down man - i believe we can have absolutely different opinion on this while still respecting each other. second thing, i vote as i feel it - i must say again, i REALLY don't find this dentro neither interesting nor good. and i don't think this is any arrogance in it.
ok, let's wait a year or two and see, if debris is among three best demos ever or (almost) forgotten. fair enough?
  added on the 2007-04-11 by crs
K-man: yes. nothing more, nothing less. people can have very various opinions about one same thing, and each of them DOESN'T NEED TO BEND HIS OPINION according to the MAJORITY.

A nice audiovisual pleasure (tho a bit hyped imho)

WUFFF
  added on the 2007-04-11 by Mr.M
crs: Well, I actually cooled down a bit by now, but i still can't understand why all three of my completely unoriginal an definitely not innovative te2-rb/bakkslide7 ripoffs got your thumb ups and this got a thumb down... It really smells like a reverse name-voting to me.
Maybe I wouldn't have been so angry at you if you just said "I am only thumbing this down because too many people thumbed it up and I don't think it deserves so much praise" :-)
And I don't get the "dentro" part of your post at all. Does it fit the rules of the "demo" category? It does, therefore it is a demo. Period.
  added on the 2007-04-11 by shakul
crs had some kind of jealous overreaction and is now trying to cover his ass. Ignore..
