To run this demo, you need the usual 486/80+ with 4 megs of ram and a
Gravis Ultrasound card with 1 meg on board (it may or may not work without
sound). SoundBlaster support will be added when we release our Naid'95 demo.
* NEWS UPDATE * without a GUS, the pleasure may be less intense (i.e. the
transitions are fucked and you won't get design elements in most parts).

In case you've missed them, the credits are as follows:
Psyke and Snibble did the coding.
Psyke also did the awesome textures.
Hegor modelled the vectors and filmed 'em.
Vip is responsible for that noise you hear
during the whole thing. (oh, except for the
few patterns in the last part: that's Snib's)
The demo was done almost entirely the week before Naid, that is why
there's almost no design in it.
Polygon statistics:
City-on-a-stick scene - 1814
3D B-Splines - 1968 (real-time calculated vertices!)
Walking metal thing - about 2000 (z-buffered) + the gouraud ground
The 'red planet'-like vector tunnel part at the end was supposed to
be much longer, but we've had problems with the camera path, so there. (oops
almost forgot the stats: it's 750 polys per section in the tunnel)
We used DOS32 by Adam Seychell as our dos-extender, which would be the
nicest thing on earth if it wasn't for some frustrating bugs we found about at
the last minute :(.
TASMX 3.1 is our compiler.
We lied. There's more than 165 lines of code.
We may release a making-of.
Oh, one last thing: you may have noticed that the total (unzipped)
size of the demo is more than 3072k (which was the limit for the democompo).
Actually, the party version's unzipped size was less than that because we used
DOS32's lzw compressor. For the release version, we decided to leave the EXE
unpacked because it zipped better that way.
