In the year of our Lord, MCMXCVII CLASS PC, like a shooting star, blazed
its way into the games-scene, leaving flaming competitors in our fiery wake.
Almost 2 years later, the competitive fires that burn deep within have not
dimmed at all. Day in and day out we toil as the "Working Stiff's Champion"
to silence those who reflect their feelings of inferiority on our team; the
PC game-scene's first CLASS-ACT. When some of you were placing bets on
lesser, more inactive groups to bring you this stellar, long-awaited title,
we were BEMUSED but AMUSED that by now, some of you still don't know what's
up. We thrive on the attempts of some to defame the undisputed PC champions
for 2 years and running. "Why?" you ask? Well, we understand it's lonely at
the top... but it's good to be KING! There's no dethroning us...
Hopefully you already know what this game is. However, if you have been
living in a cave, much like RAZOR 1911 over the past 2 months, here is all

Dune 2000 is a real-time strategy game that requires gallant leadership,
cunning tactics and formidable military prowess to win the Emperor's
challenge: Be the first to harvest the most spice and take control of Dune.
Three Houses have arrived to claim the prize: The honorable House Atreides,
the insidious House Ordos, and the vicious House Harkonnen.
Whichever House you choose to lead, rememberthe balance between power and
efficiency will lead you to victory. Wage successful strikes to interrupt
your opponents Spice production, while protecting your own.
But beware, the untamed desert holds challenges beyond that of your enemies.
Giant sandworms can devour your army with little warning, greedy merchants
of CHOAM will plan to interrupt your Spice production, and the back-stabbing
Emperor may provide aid to a House that is not yours.

UnZIP then run CLASS.EXE to check out our NEW Intro or run INSTALL.EXE to
skip the Intro and go right to the NEW Installer. If you prefer doing it
the hard, and much less visually appealing way, unACE the game manually.
Run DUNE2000.EXE to submerge yourself into another world. Enjoy this fine
release and expect more very soon from your #1 source for PC games, CLASS!
NOTE: In order to play over the INTERNET you NEED WESTWOOD CHAT. Otherwise
you WILL get an error when you select MULTIPLAYER INTERNET play. We
DID NOT include WESTWOOD CHAT in this release. LAN/MODEM play BOTH
work. So enjoy!
