Skate is on the keys. This is a little demonstration of my Kinect4C64 project.
It's a very early stage but it works quite fine with International Karate at
the moment. In near future, I'm planning to create an engine with a plugin
system for different c64 games.

This sample is modified from one of the Microsoft's Kinect SDK samples. Source
code is not tidy enough to be released but don't worry, this project will be
open source and you'll be able to reach the codes soon.

Installation Steps:

* Plug in your Kinect device to your PC's USB port.
* Install Kinect SDK which comes with the package or you may want to download
the latest version from http://kinectforwindows.org but i cannot guarantee the
back compitibility. So, using the one in the package is the recommended and
safe method.
* Install "Kinect4C64 Setup" by executing "setup.exe".
* Close all Vice windows if there are any.
* Execute the "Kinect4C64.exe" (you can use Desktop or Start Menu shortcuts if
you like). It will open a window and shell execute a Vice instance. Vice comes
in the package with proper settings. It will not affect your own Vice version
or settings, you don't need to worry about that.

Now, you are ready to play. Enjoy!

How to play?
When you run the application, be sure noone is in the Kinect's camera range.
Players should enter the scene in order. White player first and red player
second. If somehow kinect losts the tracking of a player, players may switch.
In this case, you need to get of the range and re-enter in order again.

Gestures:

Players' gestures are horizontally mirrored. So white player who stands at the
left should use his/her right hand and leg for punching and kicking and left
hand for movements. Red player should do it vice versa, left hand and leg for
fighting and right hand for the movements.

Walking: Use you hand at the back (left hand for the white player, right hand
for the red player). Your arm's shoulder to elbow part should stand parallel
to the floor. If you raise your hand up (elbow to wrist part looking upwards)
you start moving forward and if you raise it down, pointing to the floor you
start moving backwards.

Front Flip: If you jump during walking forward without changing the position
of your movement hand, you make a frontflip.

Back Flip: If you jump during walking backward without changing the position
of your movement hand, you make a backflip.

Punch: Just punch towards your opponent. You don't really need to hit him/her
though. :)

Lower Punch: Just do it like how IK sprites do it in the game. Fastly get on
your knee and do the punch at the same time.

Kick: Make a kick towards your opponent but keep your foot high, close to be
parallel to the ground.

Kick From Ground: Make a kick towards your opponent but keep your foot low.
You may want to lean a little bit.

Flying Kick: Just jump without any movement gestures. To make sure, keep
your movement hand close to your body during the jump.
