A small INTRO
Yo Yo Yo!!!
Leviathan here! Ok, well.... It's 5:58pm on Sunday 24th Oct
1993 and I'm sitting here writing this info. It's taken far
to long to get this production finished. I started it about 4
months ago and only really did anything towards it in the
last 3 weeks. God! What a waste of 4 months :) Anyway it's
done now and I'm not gonna do any more to it. Yes there is so
much wrong with it but I really can't afford to spend any
more time on it as I have too much school work to do. This
should run on a 286 or better, but due to my lame coding I
don't think it will run at full frame rate on less than a
386DX, but I suppose it depends on your VGA card too. I
tested this on my 486DX-33/ET-4000W32 and it works fine (well
what do you expect? ;)) but on my
386SX-16/Cheapo-Slooooowwww-VGA things started to go wrong.
The reason is that this intro runs in 1 frame and I am being
very inconsistent with the processing power used at various
times. I would page-flip but there isn't enough VGA Memory to
do so at the nice High Res used. Also I didn't bother to pack
any of the graphics so the executable size of this intro is a
bit big, oh well :) The music (if you are a lucky GUS owner)
was written last night in about 1 hour. It's not very good as
I'm not a Musician but it will have to do for now. The cool
Graphics were done by Georg of Hoaxers, I think the face is
one of the best I've seen. Nice work Georg!
The main reason for releasing this intro is to attract some
new members to Select. If you are a talented Coder, Musician
