French presidency competition 2007

category: residue [glöplog]
Deadline for French presidency compo is tonight.
Since there are too many entries (12), a preselection will occur.

I hope that party people won't be as drunk as last time during voting.
I still fear that there will be a strong name-voting phenomenon, more than the appreciation of the real value of each programs.

Well, whatever the outcome, remember what Jmagic once said about compos: "Audience is stupid" :-)

I voted before lunch in my little village.
@Willbe, a presidency compo is always about a character, not a program.Mental manipulation powaa..
Concerning the drunkenessesses factor, I heard there will be a good participation of the audience this year (more than 2k2). And as sparcus said, whatever the outcom, we won't appreciate it, problems won't stop and we stands ready to go down in the street I guess...mouarf.

I voted farbrausch!!

A way to show them that they are all shit is not to vote.
Go out and party, vote only for the second turn :)

irokos: Only problem with your lack ( or lack thereof ) is that some are shittier than the others. Not voting will/might help them.

Sure, but I wont vote for any of those bullshitters. I could vote Blank or for Santa Claus tho, but sadly in France Blank votes aint taken in consideration, so they'll just have to fuck off.

if blank votes were taken into account, nobody would be elected :D
THAT would send a serious message. Much better than those smacktards who vote for LePen and the likes.

Irokos: blank voting is still better than not voting at all because it's a way to show that you do care about politics but simply don't support any of the candidates.
added on the 2007-04-22 17:33:26 by sparcus sparcus
Still I think it's more sensible to eat your own hat and vote for a less-crap candidate if only to vote against the ones you don't want to see in power.

knos: and while you're at it, vote for one who actually have some chances to counter the one(s) you do vote against.

"for one who actually have some chances to counter the one(s) you do vote against"

Such as the ones that the media decided with the one year long spam before elections?
