Which kind of software you usually buy ?

the last software I bought was adventure games by lucas arts - back then when they still were cool and glorious...

Paralax: the Lucasfilm ones still are (: Well, and the Infocom ones... which reminds me I need to see what happened in the past year with Zmachine adventures...

I pay for my internet connection. Everything else is Richard M. Stallman friendly -- it smells like a combination of sweaty armpit, diseased feet, and unwashed anus. Mmm... the enlightening smell of free software.
Decent content creation software, because the free/open source video editors/sequencers/3d-modellers are not quite there yet.

it's all about content.. whether its free or not..

we can all see beyond a nice looking GUI =)
