C64 pal demos on NTSC experiments

category: general [glöplog]

Post experimental stuff of PAL demos on NTSC.

Deus ex machina-Crest - Super slowdown on opening screen and messed up, at info screen has broken images(text too), gives you a seizure after Big Breadbox(loader) and crashes.

makes as much sense as: "post experimantal pictures of sticking joysticks up your ass"

I'd say sticking a joystick up your ass makes more sense than trying to run a Crest demo on an NTSC C-64. :)

move to europe .. get a PAL c64 .. and problem solved ;-)

either that or NTSC fix the demo, that'd be a good challenge.

or watch it in winvice etc (yer yer.i know "emulators suck" but needs must)
NTSC fixing is difficult but often possible and rewarding. However, Crest demos would simply not ... well for the cost of getting a PAL c64, you'd be SURE it ran properly.

(No I haven't NTSC fixed anything for a good 15 years.)
Onslaught is working on a PAL to NTSC autoconvert program. I am making it in BASIC.

I am using C64 emulator in NTSC and i like to look how it's crashes.
And it's good idea to make PAL2NTSC converter.
