What about "dada elitism"? (that even makes gloom's posts a part of the movement!) But of course, calling something an artistic movement is something that is usually done afterwards, when looking back at it in hindsight.. So, i guess we'll have to wait until the scene is dead then!

As I've seen it, "Art" movements are when a bunch of kiss-ass snobs trump each other up and all paint/draw/record the same thing, so that gallery owners will buy/show their shit, or when a bunch of no-talent clowns copy a style from someone original. There've been big influential demos that changed people's style, but we're not hucksters trying to make a buck... and we don't alll push the same limits.
So, you could call the styles _within_ demomaking movements (the hypnobloom and object rotation period?) but not the whole thing. This is a medium, not a movement.
