well, you know, some people like to go "<x> rocks" as a fact, right
y'knowwhati'msayin' y0
lets face it - the st was coolest (because i had one, of course!). Where else could you play super sprint (apart from arcades...)

Although, alien breed tower assault for the amiga was a DAMN fine game.

i like atari logo and the cubase affair but amiga#1 [!!!]

Like both platforms, hate the zealot retards representing either platform.

Both are very sexy, but unfortunately I haven't seen much of the Amiga times.

I love any computers
sammi: supersprint was also on c64 :)

quite right psonice - but I had an amstrad cpc464. Never owned a c64. Do have an emulator though. oh, the tunes! I couldn't live at this point without deliplayer and the hsvc!

i don't see that favouring a platform makes you a bigot [shifter] - it's just an opinion. not worth busting a gut over!
Yup, i prefer the Amiga over the ST but i like both, i prefer the C64 over the Atari 8bit but i like both. The only platform i'm dubious about is the CPC and that's just 'cos Optimus is so scary! =-)

"Amiga and Atari people should stick together
and fight their common enemy: Intel ! "

Anyone who guesses the name of the dude who once wrote that
in a scroller - is allowed to smoke something now.
(I don't know if it's cited 99% right.. gonna look it up sometime)

And.. ahhh... what is that dude doing nowadays??

The world is just sad.
Ich will zurück auf meinen Stern.

Amigo rulez Atari suxx!

Why would anyone like Ataris better? They're inferior to the Amigo in every single way!
I don't recall atari's getting 'guru meditation' errors!

At least bombs were documented and fixable.

The ST's problem is that everything that made the machine comparable to the amiga was an add-on (double-sided drives, blitter chip etc), which made it hard for game developers/demo coders.

Still think programmers got more out of the ST than the amiga.
synscroll!
I never thought I'd be seeing this same old debate in the 21st Century.
@defjam:
Sounds like Chaos in "A grumbler in the rutting season"... What a pity, I stopped smoking ;)

Chaos did an effect (I think a rotozoomer?) in the "A grumbler in the rutting season" but I could never find this demo somewhere around :P

Face it - Amiga and Atari need each other.

How else could all the rivalry be played out!
Both suck.

Cohen: Thanks for the demo. The menu was indeed annoying, Chaos effect was very cool! I have to find the other two AtariSt demos where he did effects now. How are they called again? (Now I can search them in the demo archive you suggested :)
