Christmas Device: I came across this program a while ago by random, and that was the first thing that crossed my mind. Would be perfect for a subversive nude.

Wow the pencils one really looks fantastic. Is the rotation it applies to the objects random or does it try to rotate to fit the region it's covering?

Sorry texel, can't find the thumb up... ;)

Mediachance have created a painter software from a highly enhanced version of Arcimbolder. If you want to take a look, download the trial and test it from here:

http://www.mediachance.com/dap/

The result is amazing. My software was just a toy, this one really impressive and a real tool.

After being fucked up by DAP:

50% mix with original:

Note the magic texture that suddenly appears. I think that's pretty cool. You could probably find good uses for it:

Maybe people will finally start to realise that portrait painting is a boring and mechanical task. ;) My gurl:

Dynamic Auto Painter 2 released:

http://www.mediachance.com/dap/index.html

This version is much more enhanced from the original:

It includes palette enhancements, new processing algorithms, new styles and lots of things more.

Could you try it out?

I'm amazed with this result:

mind = blown.

This is probably a completely obvious thing to say coming from the demoscene, but... I'd love to see this effect applied to a video.

yodel already did that realtime ages ago :P
Gasman: we will probably release a software for video to painting, in smooth way, but currently the main developer is working yet on the v.2 versions and I'm working in other things... but definitely I would love to see that in motion too.

Please, if you test the software, I would love to see your results.
