The best "composer", you say.. Funny how some people mentioned Jogeir, carbon copying Hippel's notes one by one isn't much of composing, is it? :)

1. Dizzy
2. Uncle Tom
3. Audiomonster

I quote what Klaus Lunde said. It's pretty impossible make a TOP 5 selection, because quite all the demoscene musicians are great!

I've forgot for example, about the great tunes of Heatbeat, Skaven, aMUSIC etc...

Keep composing dudes :)

A very short list down there;
I could think of several more musicians (with who I even met last days) but if only 5 are allowed - then let it be in randomize (usr) order:

TDM
Scavenger
C-Jeff
SLL
Factor6

not allowed additional musicians -
Laxity
Megus
XTD
Gasman
Stu/Dropdabomb
Xagon
505
break: not to mention uncredited Laxity covers.

For me it's simply impossible.
Every small period of time had its TOP 5 rocking hard, rolling fat notes fellows.
And in addition for every platforme.

I haven't seen enough demos yet to compile a top 5, but Man With No Alias and Puryx would definitely be in it.

All my friends.
Making top-lists is always a charm.

1. Elwood
Elwood was the main influence for me back in the days, learnt all my tracker skills from watching his modules.

2. carlos
An awesome jazzman from jecoute, I love his groove so much and one of the key figures that made me want to make funk.

3. Nighthawk
His songs are just so beautiful, nothing else to it. Mad skills.

4. !Cube
I had my little industrial period at some point and !Cube's grittyness got to me, badly.

5. Sweet mr. Mortimer Twang
Well, I dedicated an entire album to the man. Crate diggin'.
