mind you though, rumors are abound that Maali will end up in the snorers room anyway, due to the apparent fact that he farts lloudly while he's asleep :)

.... so I heard anyway :)

carbon, :(((

Totally sucks but I'm out of work still. Maybe I can change last minute though.
Carbon: if you manage to make it I'll buy you a beer (or 2)!

And sign me up for the snore room, I chased people away from rooms I slept in!

Skrebbel... what about the compos-page? I got questions about limitations on alien entries.

shifter dug out the page from last year and is cleaning it up for re-release

basically the same compos will be available again, only change is likely to be the addition of an executable music compo

I heard there's going to be an ascii compo. Are there any specs about it (remote entries etc)?
added on the 2009-04-26 11:58:16 by zefyros zefyros
remote entries will be allowed for all our compos, including the ansi/ascii compo. in fact, it would be real nice to get some extra entries in that category, because we don't expect too many from our regular visitors, based on experiences in previous years.

Ok, so ansi is allowed too. That's nice. I'll try to at least warm up some old shit for the compo.

Given the fact that the Amiga has seen a stellar 0 releases so far at Outline, I doubt we'll see that compo back in a hurry!

we'll announce it anyway.

Finnish Amiga Group might be participating this year!

winuae ftw!
What would be a likely time limit for entries in the music compo?
added on the 2009-04-28 13:37:46 by spinor spinor
(assuming there is a music compo)
added on the 2009-04-28 13:38:14 by spinor spinor
yep, we'll probably have several music compos (streaming, chiptune, executable..)- more details on the website soon.

as for the playing time limit... it's hard to say, we try not to cut any entries short, but at the same time we also try to keep the compos interesting for our audience. also, excessively long tunes might provoke rebellious voting behaviour. i'd say 3,5 minutes is a nice rule of thumb, give or take a minute or so.
