I have some great news... TRSI ex-coder Spider/T-Bone is back with a vengeance. Checkout the beta release of GfxEditor, the most advanced online graphic design and DTP application ever made, at:

http://www.gfxeditor.com

It was launched in May 2010, after 5 years of development by Mario Gomes Cavalcanti aka Spider aka T-bone.

It is the first graphic design and DTP application to integrate image editing, vector drawing and custom merchandise ordering features into a single application.

Enjoy!

Mario Gomes Cavalcanti
Coder, CEO of Mersica Inc.

This looks like something from ca 2004.

yeah the design is very distracting, needs more web 2.0 :D
also i don't wanna register just to test it..

You could gain 80% Web 2.0 cred by calling it a beta.

This is just a beta release. I have hired at marketing firm to help improve the website. So lots of room for improvements, I I would apreciate suggestions from you guys.

Anyway, its a brilliant application for grating graphic design, for all sorts of things, including demo graphics.

So check the videos, check the tool, the website design, is not the importat factor here... The tool can be a bit hard for first timers, but the videos show help with that. An I am constanly add stuff to the Forum help.

I have spent 5 years creating this app, its the best there is at the moment for cerating graphics and page layout. and the only one integrated with Zazzle.com. So whats the big deal of creating an account? Its a free app, it it takes just 2 minutes to open account. Anyway start by watching videos and decide to open account afterwards.
itse me, mario!
But what is the point in forcing people to register first? You could still ask them to register once they want to save their artwork.

needs better color theme.

make it easier to get started.. took several minutes before I could interact with the canvas.

flash view currently fills a rect with borders around.. maybe fill out the entire page only with flash content.

have you checked the legal stuff on the translatations? in denmark we have laws that does not allow one to praise your own product by pointing at others (e.g. your comparison to photoshop and gimp might not be ok)
Thank you all for the great suggestions, keep them comming!

Yes, I already have plans for changing the system so that an account is only needed when saving the project. Will be implemented at some point soon.

Next week the marketing firm I hire is comming with a idea for a new look for the website, for now, I'll have to go with this, I did it all alone and I'm no graphic designer, I'm a coder, did what I could...

Definitiom of "Back with a vengeance" : "with a vengeance used to emphasize the degree to which something occurs or is true"

I'm running a graphics competition for createting a new Logo design, check it out:

My servers are in Gernamy, My company registered in Belize, anyone knows if what neoneye says also applies for Germany?
This is what bugmenot is for.

also, please ask graphicians to do the demo of your application. your show cases are crap.

as i understand it, if you operate in a country you are oblieged to follow their laws (as in, when you translate the page to danish you need to follow danish law)
Ok, I'll check about the law issues you are saying... For now I'll remove the text about photoshop and Gimp.

You guys are welcome to post suggestions in my Forum:

Thank you!
please always use bbcode in this thread when refering to broken things.

Wasn't this posted (and tore to bits?) earlier? If that was just in my imagination: looks like a lot of work, but unfortunately I would never, ever, ever use this.

I tried it now, and what`s the point of a graphics editor made in flash? It`s probably alot of work under the hood, but the UI of the editor is horrible.

I have seen video editors and sound sequencers made in flash and they are as useful as this program, having a very small subset of the functionality found in desktop programs.

Is this a joke or not?

GfxEditor is the only application is in the world where its possible to create a graphic design from scratch and have it displayed in a t-shirt, shoes or other merchandise in less then 5 minutes... That's a fact! Where else is that possible?
I don`t believe you, how do your software transfer the "artwork" to a t-shirt, shoe, cup etc etc?

wtf. is this all about selling cups etc? try http://www.cafepress.com/ they allow design etc of prints for shirts.

in addition also www.vistaprint.com has a semi-usefull editor which includes font manipulation, illustrations, etc. with output to tshirts, business cards, posters, etc.

i thought your point was being an online gimp/photoshop clone ...
