Even there is on the LinkedIn Page that he has won once in a game competition.. I'm wondering on what event that was.

Most likely he means the NeoFlash compos, where he apparently also stole code from other people and just rewrote a few lines of code.
Here's the latest (and hopefully last) post about him, about his music in games (thanx to the work of Strobe & Ant1). Attention: Mr Death, Heatbeat, Beathawk, Dalezy, Azazel, XTD, Oisten Eide, Basehead, Ramosa, Greg Tuby, Otis! Congratulations :)

Goto80: Which Øystein Eide track did he rip? He's a professional musician now and would probably like to know :)

crosbow: the point is, as long as he keeps ripping off amateur communities and he himself remains on amateur grounds, what's the worst that can happen to him? noone's gonna bother to do anything apart from posting about it.

Im am with Skrebbel and okkie on this. The anger is justified but keep it sober.

yeah..you a real hard man! But to tar and feather the guy, put him on a rail and run him out of town and into the nearest river may be slightly overreacting.

Have you realized how much money he might have already made simply by lying and faking? If he really kept that $250 prize, then... whoa. And judging from the people commenting and loving his tracks on last.fm, he also has made quite a bit of money with those as well. I would agree with you if he just stole, let's say, a few scene tracks and nothing else, but come on. This guy does deserve it.
there's a chance to raise your voice at youtube as well:

Hi,

First of all:
I admit, I did indeed "rip" songs. Though, 95% of them are a bit edited.
But that doesn't mean im innocent.
True, it is a shame that I did such thing. I never wanted that it will end
up the way like this.
I already mailed iTunes and Spotify to remove the songs. Hope this will be
done asap.
I didn't touch any stuff since october '09.

If the REAL owners of the songs like to get there royalties or wants me to
donate it somewhere, feel free to ask for it.

Sorry for all the troubles.

Regards,
HtheB

Dude, seriously? Timbaland was a different story, but this is just some bozo that put music online and made like 12 cents off it. It sucks if people pretend they made stuff you made, but you are overreacting way hard here.

Oh snap!! Is it really HtheB or some clever troll? On Pouet you never know!

If it's really HtheB, good luck trying to get a job in video games in the Netherlands. You don't have to apply at our office, we rather work with people that don't steal shit.

I think I agree with okkie about the clever troll, actually

it is genuinely HtheB, he's a friend of a friend who got in contact and passed this thread link

p.s. 95% are a bit edited? xD that's doesn't change anything AT ALL.. just admit you did wrong without any if's or but's, that's more worthy of respect

Did I read correctly that both lawsuits against Timbaland were thrown out of court? :-(

HtheB: ho thank for the answer, but "your" tune "Victorious" (aka "Unreal Superhero 3 by kenët&me) isn't edited at all :)

And of course I want some royalties I will use to donate to some demoscene free service like untergrund.net or scene.org.
