sagacity: I second that. "koud, eh?" - the memories.. getting pwned by process/quad was fun :)

Now, how did I miss the coldest party ever discussion! IIRC @ Juhla Pi the temperature outside sank to something like -25C during one of the nights and it was also freezing cold in the sleeping hall. Luckily we had also seats next to the main entrance, with cool fresh air flowing in every time someone entered the party place...

I remember my coldest party being Stream, thankfully the presence of saunas solved the problem in no time!

STILL pissed off that I refused to kiss you at TUM, are you? :*

Considering where that mouth had just been, let's file the whole thing under "a mixed blessing".

my coldest party experience must have been mekka/symposium 1997, outside in the car. i succeeded in focusing on getting some sleep for a good 15 minutes until i found out it's too cold to be anywhere but inside the hall. (on a sidenote, i just remember random knobheads knocking on the window, giving their best to get my attention)

various people were reporting getting a set of blue toes in fallingbostel 2000 as well, due to unsuspecting snow appearing as a special party guest.

You guys clearly never went to Black Birdie.. Try sleeping in an uninsulated barn in sweden in september and then come back to complain!

leijaa, that really must mean alot, coming from a born viking. :D

for some reason, being a viking apparently means that you like cold .. but surely it's the other way around, you have to deal with the fucking cold all the time so you hate it even more! =)

My coldest party experience is TRSAC 2010 when the goddamn orgas opened the doors right beside the table I was sleeping under. Luckaly I had a towel to warm my self, plus shouting and cursing at farfar as loud as I could made me warm up again. Oh and FISKEFJÆS!

Holy gosh. Reading that is appealing. tUM 2004 or 2005 (the first one in Karlsruhe instead of Hermsbach), I parked my car around the trainstation and did the rest by foot. We slept (vils and I) in it on the first night, it was covered of snow. We (seriously) thought getting in and breathing and simply being in the car would act as a real igloo. We just forgot the fire. I woke up at 7AM, blue footfingers and O°K (yes, Kelvin, -273,15°C) nose. Had to drink several coffees in the morning to feel better.

My coldest party experience was Breakpoint 2008, in case you want to know. Frozen mud and 0º is cold enough for me as the temperature rarely goes under 10º here.

tFT: next year we will build a fire next to where you're sleeping!

I'll just avoid talking about geography and meteorology and pretend everything is fine.

I think one of the first Breakpoint's was p. cold, but can't really remember since I slept nicely in a van. And I heard Lowres was cold.

Also the hottest demo party has to be Bizarre '99 where it was at least +60 on the balcony and gfx cards were frying and pc's melting.

NEVER FORGET!

i guess im obliged to say the first bp at the hangar field. however, as i was sleeping close by a heating tube it never caught up with my alchohol level :-)

also, sitting next to the large doors at the party in aars was pretty cold - as they were open for about 1-2 hours a day with -5-10 degrees outside .
is it just me or the second bp was colder than the first one though?
