About the Defacto2 ISO Collection 1.4 and Acid's Dark Domain DVD

category: offtopic [glöplog]

Does anybody know where to find the Defacto2 ISO Collection 1.4 ?
I tried to leech it from www.defacto2.net but the link seems to be broken; the file is missing in the FTP of the site... Defacto2_ISO_1.4.7z is unavailable... I want to have that collection. Other thing I wish to have is a copy of Acid's Dark Domain. Can somebody tell me where I can downloand this two files? Does anybody has them? Can somebody seed them in a p2p network? Well, that is all, thank you in advanced.

i don't think you can download dark domain since it's a retail dvd. radman/acid reads here regularely though, and he's definetely the person to talk to when it comes to dark domain.

What does that Defacto2 ISO contain exactly? Doesn't really say on the site...

About Dark Domain... dunno if it's available as a torrent but here's some sort of online version: http://cd.textfiles.com/darkdomain/

It's interesting to see these connections / "personal unions" between the demo and warez worlds. Maybe this would be worth an article or two.

who's talking about warez? it's about artgroups dumbass.

Defacto2 is also a warez group.

Adok, not at all : since 1996 defacto started to make interviews of well known warez sceners to put them in defacto, the diskmag. Defacto2 never was a warez group. Recently a group appeared yeah, with the name Defacto, releasing stuff in the warez scene, and they even stole flamez/acid ascii for their releases, how great. But no, Defacto NEVER was in the warez scene.

They even pirated their ascii logo?
Haha... they must be the ultimate pirate group!

irokos: OK. I just recall the website defacto2.net, which also contained a lot of links to warez-related pages.

Then they only concern warez history related pages, or old scene portals that used to exist before 2000 :)

that's ridiculous that someone hijacked the Defacto2 name *and* NFO ASCII for a different purpose...

...does anyone know what happened to Infernal Flames? been looking for him. :-/
