Quote:

it's the second year in a row our supplier fails to understand what we actually mean with "still water"

next time my specification for them will be:
"water. WITHOUT THE FUCKING BUBBLES, BITCHES"

@djh0ffman: Thanks for the tracklist. I missed the beginning and I saw that you played TOASTY. Did you know that he's a scener too? :)

Xylo: That was the whole point - the printed schedules differed from the schedules on the party network (which I couldn't access at all until sunday evening when I learned that the WLAN password in the info leaflet was wrong - I thought it was just lingering connectivity issues from excess AP:s, but I digress).

There are always last minute changes in the timetable - even during the party. The leaflet can't replace looking at the bigscreen or partynet for the real timetable, I'm afraid.

As for the wireless password - that was due to a miscommunication between teams and when we discovered it, it was already too late to change it back because it had been advertised for hours on the bigscreen already

When I was outside (right at the food stands, not at the bonfire), I missed the first two rounds of meaty's quiz (damn!) and of the scene.org awards stuff as well, because there was apparently no jingle or anything to be heard.

From what I remember, there was a jingle and an announcement from okkie before almost every even.

If the normal jingle can't be heard outside, it should be no problem to put a small speaker somehwere there.

Might be an idea.

what i think would be cool as well would be one of the bigger screens outside(or at least visible from the outside), displaying the beamslides only (compos don't make sense imo)

Man, you were in germany, the water from the water-tap is cleaner and more controlled than in every bottle you could buy. Take it. Enjoy it. And it's good
for the environment, too.

Tap water is definitely drinkable unless you're in some seriously shitty country. The whole bottled still water thing is a brilliant scam (hint: it's tap water in a bottle).

vscd: there's ridiculous amounts of calcium in the tapwater here tho...

Bottled water .. pfftt ... in fact, one of the producers decided to buttfuck you even more, by using the name "evian" ... doesn't take much of an Einstein to reverse that ;)

thanks for a nice party everyone. i especially enjoyed the knoeki-set, the jco-talk, the 64k compo and, of course, variform 2!

special thanks to styx for performing the emergency surgery on friday night :)

Ahm. Houston, we've got a problem. Not an unfamiliar one, though :-) Did anyone get our Fnuque-banner or did it finally get thrown in a dumpster? I know this sounds like a bad joke :-\

I use Evian to make ice cubes. It just tastes better, y'know?

Punqtured: haha, brilliant. I never realized that.

I just filled a bottle with water from the tap. Not as convenient but at least it didn't have bubbles in it :_D

finally somewhat recovered from another awesome edition of revision - working hard on the amiga demo resulted in only having sunday for boozing.. and I might have overdone it just a tiny bit, since I'm still hung over.. aargh! :)

already looking forward to revision 2013! :D
