Extract wma from Binary?

category: offtopic [glöplog]

Hi dudes, I Need to extract a old tune from my executable. Unfortunately it is a huge file and I don´t have a tool for that, and I´m too lazy to code my own :D
Has sb already made a tool to do this?

Yes, a hex editor ;)

Look for the magic bytes 30 26 B2 75 8E 66 CF 11 A6 D9 00 AA 00 62 CE 6C and write the rest of the .exe, starting with that hex string, to a .wma file. You'll copy a lot of extra stuff beyond the end of the .wma, but players will generally ignore it.

Hope that helps.

doesn't exactly do wma's. but it's nice to have for mp3's.
