no idea, don't have an audio cd player here - will check it somewhere else.

IIRC it were two discs; one for the demos and stuff, and another just with the audio tracks.

Mine's #162/1000, BTW.

What? No limited edition of HOT SCENE STUFF? For shame. ;)

(I think there was just one batch of 500+ pressed, making all the discs 'limited' )

Whoa =). Nice to see some of that work still exists. I put a lot of time into the eRave CD-ROMs and other ASMORG produced discs.

I seem to remember downloading the dreams disks from scene.org

wysiwtf, some of the data is available on scene.org - but of course it is much cooler to have the disks! ;)

abyss, cheers for your work back then! do you think it'd be possible to legally put images of the the eRave series on scene.org in order to preserve the heritage?

yeah, definitely cooler to have the original disks :) Definitely cool to have these things on scene.org too though, since the disks aren't exactly widely available now.

i don't have anything they'd run on any more :( Better it goes to somebody who can use it.

And btw, if you do have something that can run these older demos, it's cool as hell to stick a CD in and pick a bunch of cool demos from a nice menu instead of randomly downloading stuff and trying to get it to run :) It's like a realtime version of a youtube playlist, with cool extras.

TORRENT KTHXBYE ;)
actually a repository with .ISOs of such CDs and other demoscene data swag would be nice for history sake as well as fun for people who don't have them and wanna check them out. Maybe that American dude that likes paid holidays can do a kickstarter for this!
Maali, dare we not speak his name? IC says "jscott jscott jscott" and in a blink of an eye he finds himself in a strange landscape of forgotten data and funny hats.
Anyway, I think this is pretty freaking excellent. I would just hope that whomever acquires these will consider uploading them to a public archive.

cd.textfiles.com may be excellent but these days I've been putting ten times as much material into http://archive.org/details/cdbbsarchive

jscott: excellent link!
I was so thrilled when I found plenty of "ASM: Aktueller Software Markt" issues there the other day:

maybe a certain someone can use it to do some blow off of ;)

plek, the issue here is that many of these cd's were commercially produced, so i don't think we can just put them up on scene.org or anywhere else without permission.

...did you just call maali plek or plek maali?
