record attempt: most releases at different parties during same weekend

category: general [glöplog]

So, last weekend there were 6 different demoparties around the globe; Zoo, Kindergarden, Silly Venture, Alchimie X, Syntax and of course the mighty Tibblelan #2

I thought it would be funny idea to try to go and have an entry at ALL of the parties happening during the same weekend, so I went on and made the series of entries:
World breaks everyone for Kindergarden
the insatiable thirst for everything for Tibblelan #2
One Must Love the Eagle for Alchimie X
I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening for Silly Venture
desperation is the raw material of drastic change for Zoo
in spite of everything I shall rise again for Syntax

Unfortunately I was a bit too hasty with the remote submissions and did not check that all parties responded, so at least KG and Silly Venture did not show my entry, haven't yet seen results from Alchimie so dunno what happened there. So depending on Alchimie (does anyone know the results from there btw?) that makes 3 or 4 parties during the same weekend that showed an entry from me, not that high number yet.
So, I'm wondering what actually *IS* the record for number of most releases at different parties by same person/group?

Go and make a demo about it.

Also, I guess the biggest amount of entries at the same party record is still held by ISO for their bunch of disqualified/not shown demos at Juhla Pii.

unfortunately it's also about quality. not only quantity :\
"Most first-second-third at compos in one weekend at partys with more than 50 participants" - that'd be something to strive for :D

Maybe I should add achievements to Pouet.

On that note I did a query recently and confirmed that Razor is the only group on Pouet who has a release with every letter of the alphabet.

Cool idea nosfe!
Only managed to have two so far with http://www.pouet.net/search.php?what=twogather&type=prod (and it seems like I fucked up the month for the main one)

Too bad it didn't work out for SV and KG for you, however I guess you hold the record now, congratz on that :)

The Forever party probably has a few candidates for that one. Best performance I can find is Factor6 in 2012, who got 4 first places (Atari graphics, Atari music, Realtime, ZX Spectrum music) and contributed music and graphics to the second-placed Spectrum demo. (As well as two more entries that didn't reach the top three.)

Can I get an achievement for getting 4th place 3 times in a row?

You'd get the "we´re 4th so why try harder?" achievement.

"May the 4th …" – nah.
