[Jobs] At twnkls | augmented reality (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) we're looking for colleagues

category: offtopic [glöplog]

Hi,

At twnkls we are looking for some insanely talented people to build the next generation of augmented reality (AR) applications, experiences, games and campaigns with us.

We have a number op positions open, please check: http://twnkls.com/jobs/

We are based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, so probably this notice is only interesting if you can realistically do the commute.

Some of the skills we use in our daily work (you don't have to have _all_ of these..)
- Application development in C# on Unity3D
- Application development in Java on Android
- Application development in Objective-C on iOS
- Computer vision algorithm development in C++, MATLAB
- Effects development using C#/C++ and shaders
- Creative concept development (ideation, visualization, presentation)
- Team leadership
- and etcetera..

If you see a good fit we look forward to hearing from you!

That's great, you can start right away!

In you own home and without pay, of course :)

It's interested how everybody is asking for "insanely talented" or "very talented" or just "talented"; but, maybe 9 out of 10 programmers have no talent at all, yet the world keeps turning, good software is being made etc. etc.

Hum, I should gather all my stuff and create a portfolio since I could basicly walk to Rotterdam.

@Navis, that's true.. but we are a small startup working in a rapidly evolving field (augmented reality) and we need some people who can _lead the way_ in areas like computer vision, mobile development and real-time rendering (on mobile devices)... i.e. 'ordinary developers' can join up later.

I hope you can pay for the employes _who can lead the way_. Because it seems you are definitely not looking for a "standard coder" but for someone who can properly code, has a lot of experience and also knows & understands & is able to advance & implement recent state of the art research.

If you are going to hire a person with that expertise who is almost sane - you should be able offer him/her a appropriate salary - even in a startup. Otherwise lower your expectations or find somebody with the skills who is not sane :D

Or then be prepared to be really generous with equity and other perks.

Yes, I assume a company-paid Maserati is included in the deal?

*chuckle*

You're still satisfied with a Maserati? Really?
