Hey there. For those of you who haven't heard the news: there will be no tUM this year. It's not a spontaneous development either but more of a planned hiatus.

We're happy that our friends from ATW are stepping up and are organizing a new demoparty called "Under Construction" so you don't have to stay at home with your family ;) It's also safe to say that the tUM staff will be there to celebrate the last party of the year together with you.

We'll be back in 2015.

so tum 2013 wasn't the ultimate ultimate meeting? ;-)

Out of curiosity, is there any specific reason that it's not happening this year? or just taking a well-deserved break?

tUM is very special to us. This year there's much stuff going on in the lives of the main organizers and we don't feel that we'd be able to put in the amount of time which would be necessary to deliver the kind of experience you all expect from it.

It's also a perfect opportunity to take a step back and help the next generation of party organizers get on track so there is a) no "hole" between christmasn and new years and b) we can still enjoy Demoparties once we all grow old and weary ;)
