TBL PC + affiliated company (worked there a blue monday in 2000/2001) had it before that to fit it with a synth we all know. I was amazed, though not exactly for the most sensible of reasons :)

Interesting license discussion.
Jeffrey Lim releasing ImpulseTracker sources. that's amazing.

I wish Schism Tracker did 100% ImpulseTracker support instead of just weirdness.
rather tired of all that crazy shit with sample-based vibrato and filter envelopes not being 1:1.

Which TBL PC + AC + IT = what?

FWIW I have semi-fixed the filters some years ago but it was mostly untested and Storlek doesn't really have much time for SchismTracker anymore. How about fixing it yourself? ;)
was curious about whether a good approach to make IT source code more useful would be to let it through a machine translation from assembly to C, w/ some manual factoring here and there to make it gradually idiomatic C.

But that's a lot of work that I'm not foolish enough to start

There is already at least one person intending to rewrite the whole thing in C, so let's see what comes out of that.
Saga Musix, done in private I presume?

@Saga Musix: How would I fix it when I have absolutely no idea what code is? :)

trc_wm: i realize you're serious. so am i. no, i will not.

i would much rather use LUA scripting in Renoise, and Swift with Xcode.
