Instead of banning mad/drunk/whatever users, put really really difficult captures for each posting action. Should prevent hardy (not only) at least from posting some of his crap.

1.you could add option to block messages from users when logged in.
2.if that person is on more than 10 "shit lists" block their content from visitors.
