TS and I invite you to the first ever Stuttgart Scene Meeting!
We'd like get together with fellow sceners from the general area, and anyone who wants to join from further away is welcome, too! Chat and watch demos in a cozy atmosphere with your extended family, or maybe even huddle together in our hacking lounge and polish your latest production.
When and where, you ask? I'm glad you asked!

Easy to reach via car or public transport: Take the U4 or U9 from Stuttgart main station towards Hedelfingen, get off at "Im Degen".
I'll be there starting around 1700 at the latest and prepare the room, so pop up whenever you like. The room can easily accomodate about 15 people, 25 if we like it cozy. We will have a projector and not-so-bigscreen, and we may even get a beefy demo PC to play with.
The event is open-ended, and there will be ample space to unroll your sleeping bags or just crash on a sofa somewhere. The hackerspace will operate normally while we're there -- feel free to mingle and expect to have interested nerds mingle back.
I will organize a few crates of beer to sell at cost price and try to find a way to get it chilled. Like any self-respecting hackerspace, we have a vending machine full of Club Mate and other assorted soft drinks. Feel free to bring your own drinks, but -- please -- no hard alcohol. Beer or Cider are fine, most other things likely are not.
Speaking of which: Our hackerspace has very strict regulations around alcohol, and we (me included) take a very dim view of people drinking more than they can handle and all the consequences thereof (and we're not afraid to throw people out). I am aware the scene has a tradition of boozing, so please drink responsibly while you're here and let go at some other occasion ;)

SSM 1 is just one week away! The room's got a sturdy 1027x768 projector bolted to the ceiling now (which will likely be replaced by a Full-HD model) and we also have a nice demo box with two GTX 760 cards inside.
Right now I only have confirmation from Saga, SQUelcher and TS, so I'll just go get one crate of beer.
