Compos imminent?

Tjoppen: FWIW cause I'm not at the party this year: traditionally compos start later in the evening and can reach deep into the night

flew indicated that it would start at 17:00, but that's only rumor I guess. Is there an IRC channel?

ARRRGGGGHHH......
Do I REALLY NEED to have a separate account for EVERY (lousy) service and page?

@baah: thx m8 :)

@sim: just a pity you couldn't join us at SV2k17 :/

I've updated "results file" once again - I forgot to add single 4kb entry for Falcon too (I am _REALLY_ tired). So overall there was 116 compo entries, what is not a bad result for Atari-only event :)

Basically what Thadoss said.

Each Sillyventure is 'the best one yet' every year. This one is no different.

Thanks.

Best Party Ever ... where they stop the compo to call you on stage for free beer. Outstanding organization and great location, and birthday cake, and greetings from Nolan Bushnell, and food, and people from all over the world, ... my definition of a perfect and unique demo party. There is nothing more motivating that this to create stuff for the next round. I actually already started today ... Thanks to you Grey and all the supporters!

@Thadoss, @CiH, @JAC! - Thanks guys, your words mean a lot to me. The best proof that all my effort for all of that (in fact since April) wasn't a waste of time.

While I am here I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the beST for the New Year.

Yep, echoing the thanks and greetings here.

I enjoyed this Sillyventure party as I have all the others which I've been to over the years.

The food was lovely and delicious - a real treat to look forward to.

Your efforts with Sillyventure, Grey, are * never * wasted at all. We all love to visit and the Atari scene calendar is always looking forward to this whenever it is on.

Things did appear to be a little muted though. Whilst it was never a problem personally at previous Sillyventure events, it seemed as though people were taking it a bit easier when it came down to the boozing, with the volume being kept low as a result. Maybe that was because of the high-vis wearing security people who were in the main hall.

It was a shame that Lotharek had nowhere to exhibit his hardware warez that have been for sale at past events. Hopefully if he comes back to a future event he'll be able to do that.

Many thanks once again, Grey, Sylwia and the team - and I will also take the time here to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Cheers,

Rich.

Couldn't make it but it was fun coding for the 2600 again with Flush guys and Tjoppen! Thanks for voting it to second place and it was a pleasure to be in the same compo with G*P especially.
