Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

that feels like a Sierra Adventure

My thoughts exactly in that the events where "you" die don't usually correlate to what the decision was and it's seemingly random what the result of a decision is. That always frustrated me in any of the *Quest games or the first Goblins game - you just end up dying as a result of curiosity with no real indication that it was something you were supposed to do, something Bandersnatch deftly demonstrates in the first meaningful decision where if you accept the offer of writing the game, it smugly points out that it's the "wrong" decision for your supposed and hitherto undemonstrated artistic vision to work together with a graphics artist and a sound guy.

The irony of it being so obsessed video game scores while being mediocre video game writing AND design at best was not lost on me.

I think 50% of the content of laura bow and the dagger of amon ra consist of dying animations. I love that game.

I played Bandersnatch a lot more today and came across different outcomes, including a certain bunny which seems to have the biggest decisions around it, but is there an outcome that results in the guy making a perfect 5/5 game?

Has anyone played the game originally named bandersnatch?

I'd heard of it years ago, and I figured it was a ZX Spectrum game so I looked it up on World of Spectrum: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0009525

It was never officially released, but other variations came out.

I did enjoy this very special episode of Black Mirror.
Is there any possible 5-star-ending without Colin or dad dying along the way?

As far as I understand it the only route to a 5 star review is to kill and chop up the dad.

Can confirm that's how game development works.
