https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=16913 has quite nice routines and is a last from Epidemic before leaving Addonic and joining Banal and Complex.

This nice textmode 64Kb has been recorded, but the Youtube version has broken synchronization and everything is too slow.

Personally, I would like to have a video of that old one:

This thing does not run under WinUAE (or it's just me, incorrectly setting emulator?)
^ works fine here, just gotta use KS 1.3. (and I had 1 MB chip in my config)

Walibi (re-)captured, kept it at 70fps so hopefully the sync is right. A lot more stuff in it than the original YT capture, at least.

The existing capture for Optic Nerve is rather glitchy. There's two more on youtube, of which one runs at an extremely low framerate and another one that also glitches and furthermore is just two minutes long...
Anyone up for the task of finding the correct hardware to run this on? ;)
You can run it in DOSBox (at least SVN-Daum, but maybe -X too) with the settings I mentioned in my last prod comment, and it works without any visual glitches, just a few sound hiccups. I could remedy that in a capture by adding the music separately.

Nice, thanks :)
Phoenix, I would be gratefull if you could capture this demo from The Party 1994..
Thank you in advance..

magic: I'm doubtful about getting Lethal Display 5 on Youtube because of the NSFW gfx, but I can at least upload an mp4 to google drive or scene.org.

This one needs a better capture: Smugglers On Acid
added on the 2020-11-02 00:02:30 by phoenix phoenix
I get OpenGL errors for Smugglers On Acid:

Shader compilation status:
0(38) : warning C7502: OpenGL does not allow type suffix 'f' on constant literals in versions below 120

Any tricks or wrappers for OpenGL stuff?

Goatzilla captured. But, after seeing your latest comment on the prod page, you figured out how to run it. :)

Phoenix: you can use glShaderReplacer: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=54015

Unzip it in the same folder as the demo and run the demo. ShaderReplacer will intercept the shaders, and will make a subfolder containing the used shaders, and the matching logfiles. Find the logfile with the warning, then open the shaderfile and find the place of the error. Copy that line, and fix the error (in this case, removing an f suffix from some constant)

There is also an xml file containing executable names, and before/after code fragments. Make a new entry with the demo's exe filename, the original line of code, and the fixed line. When you run the demo again, ShaderReplacer should patch the defect shader for you (if it fails, check the logs again: the demo may halt after the first shader that doesn't compile).
