How to save the demoscene

category: general [glöplog]
We are now approaching the end of a Jumalauta emergency meeting and we have realized that the demoscene has already reached its objective; all worthwhile demos have already been done and all further demos are merely waste of time and resources.

Therefore, we suggest:

1. Everyone gets naked
2. Everyone oils his/her body
3. We all wrestle
4. Repeat 3 until enlightenment

Plan is to be executed at Breakpoint. Bring your own oil.

Jumalauta Fast Action Team report will follow shortly.

A better way to save the demoscene is put it in a glass jar and close the top. Just remember to punch a few air holes in the lid.

I am _so_ not involved with this in any way, shape, or form.
you can add a wrestling style like turkish people..

Adrianapolitian Olive Oil covered Wrestling..

Or it is just enough to acquire previous quality in the demos.

SDK s might be got easier and easier but this shouldn't affect the groups..

Waiting for killer releases..

save the demoscene by donating cash (and/or beer) to young and poor demosceners.

Ye Olde Clue Shoppe might prove useful to save the demoscene!

In order to save the demoscene you need to enable:
glEnable(GL_SAVE_DEMOSCENE);

All sceners should be moved to a small island.
Then.. bomb the island.

Ooooor.. The only way to save the scene is to move to some obscure, dead platform. If everyone made demos for the A500 or C64, the scene would be a much better place.

Nono, I am serious. Frightening, eh? =)

..not that a500 or c64 are dead or obscure, I just want to see more demos on those platforms. :]

I dont think I like the idea about roling around with some oily guys. That would kill the scene, not save it =D
