Yeah, well, anyone who has been through Frankfurt Main will know how it's like to be treated like a criminal. Not only was I frisked TWICE, the metal sensor didn't go off but I still got frisked again, was told to take my laptop out of my bag - they said they were going to take it apart to see what was inside... I had to remove the battery and hard drive quick-release before they were happy, and had my camcorder tested for explosives... My god, it's worse than Yankie-land!

Oh, and apparently, the tiny number 1 in a train carriage means First Class, however shabby it looks. Yes, that's right, €40 fine. Fucking "Die Bahn". Die Bahn, Die.

.waffle: we already had those problems with laptops on our trip to assembly '99, so it's nothing new.
back then they also did all kind of explosives-checks.

I like Die Bahn. It's all a matter of asking silly questions and they like you.
When i was in the US a few years ago, happily my computer was in parts already. They asked me what that shit is while it went through the X ray. I said its my PC. They laughed and let me through. O_O
