Reserving threads

How does it work? Why does sometimes another (probably even unrelated) posting appear before your own if you started a thread? Is it a bug or a feature? Habe ich da etwas nicht mitbekommen?

They're just hidden parts.

You see the "?which=x" part in the URL? You used to be able to put any number you want in there. The "Post a new reply" box would appear on that page, and voila! You could post into a thread that hadn't been created yet.

ps, being a great big smelly killjoy, has now "fixed" this and ruined everyones fun.

[2005-05-11] - (ps) fixed the secret bbs feature, fuckings to everyone who was abusing it, you just made the post procedure slower! congrats!

And of course "this thread doesnt exist" is just too complicated to add.

He even deleted my thread with id=1000000000, which would have never bothered any of us. (Maybe someones siblings though, if pouet does still exist then)
