Video Effects Repository survey: what information do U want in the DB?

Hi!
I need advice for the project I'm currently working on:
The Video Effects Repository (not final name).
Its aim is to be the only one (enough duplicated function
websites) video effect repository including all oldskool’s
effects and film effects.
As it's a huge project, I need to get your advice:
It’s a web site mainly for you sceners and should focus on your
needs.
remember, this is not at all the final version, only 2 days of
work.
Don't get it as a lame quality work:
I've not worked on the design yet, but will do to ensure top
quality (not like dipswitch websites).

I've only worked 2 days full time on the project, the interface
need to be completed with fields, .css to be written, good
design for the whole site, mysql code for the DB, ...
The VER will be displayed on in 1280x1024 screen with a mysql
database containing pic of the old effects, code for it, .exe
effect to download.
If you think you aren't concerned, don't want to participate,
think it's better to contact coders for this, or for any other
reasons, please forward this post to a member of your group who
in your humble opinion can be of more help, thanks.
Please don't send it to database focused guys only:
I need different point of views and not only technical point of
view.

I can not contact personnaly all of you: this takes sadly too
much time (I've contacted more than 1000 coders / sceners to get
a site which will please you all)
But those who will take part seriously in this survey will be
greeted and will get their name / url displayed on a greetings
page of the final DB.

well I dunno keops... looking at dipswitch's blog, I totally see why ep wouldn't like it: no animated starfield backgrounds, no canyon.mid blaring out of the speakers...
Viewed from this angle, it makes perfect sense to me now :)

Laser, zoom, plasma, scrolling, distortion, rotation, zoom-rotation, pixel scaling, sinus scroll, sinus scroll text, dots, glenz vector, inconvex vector, fade, shaded bob, 3D mountain voxel generator, infinity, ... The effects of the oldskool demos as there is no more efect on the newskool demos.

Interesting project, I was once dreaming for such a thing, but "video effects?" (Hahaha) and I am afraid it won't get support (because you are quite (in)"famous"). Other than that, it's not that easy to find out who did what first, also I am expecting Freax for few of those infos and other interesting facts, however is to gonna be released ever and why the hell can't I subscribe to the mailinglist of Freax? (I was once with an old hotmail address but then I deleted that email, now I can't get into with yahoo, wtf!!! Tried 3 times at 6 months ;PPP)
